Adjustable Bow Headbands![]() These bows are easy-peasy, and the strap is adjustable. All you need is yarn and a button!
Pattern: Use H hook and worsted weight yarn. hdc=half double crochet, sl st= slip stitch, ch= chain, st=stitch, hdc2tog=hdc 2 together {How to do a hdc2tog: Yarn over, (insert hook in next st, yarn over, pull through) x 2, yarn over, pull through all remaining st. 1 stitch decreased.} Ch4, turn. Row1: Starting in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in each st across (3st) Row2: Ch1, turn. 2hdc in next st, hdc in next st, 2hdc in next st (5st) Row3: Ch1, turn. Hdc in each st across (5st) Row4: Repeat row3. Row5: Ch1, turn. Hdc2tog, hdc in next st, hdc2tog (3st) Row6: Ch1, turn. Hdc in each st across (3st) Ch1, turn. Repeat rows 1-6, for a total of 12 rows. Finishing: Match up the ends of the bow. Sl st the ends together, forming a ring. Cut yarn, leaving a 2-ft. tail. Pull tail through loop. Wrap tail around center of flattened bow numerous times. Secure both tails and weave to hide. Fasten off.
